Instructions for Access to the Agile System from a Mac

Starting Remote Desktop Connection

Remote Desktop Connection can be found in your applications folder. The easiest way of getting there is by clicking on the desktop, then going to the top of your screen and picking "Applications" out of the "Go" drop down menu.

The Go Drop Down Menu

For future quick access, click and drag "Microsoft Remote Desktop" to your dock.


Open "Microsoft Remote Desktop".

Setting up the Printer

Open the "RDC" menu and select "Preferences" from the menu.

Open Preferences

Then click on the "Printers" tab.

Change to the Printers Tab

Then choose the printer you wish to print with from the drop down menu.

Choose the Printer

Then close the window.

Close the Window

Then go to the "File" menu and select "Save" from the menu.

Save Changes

Connecting to

The first time you setup the connection, create “New” connection

Enter the following connection parameters(note: username and password are your watiam credentials)



Next time you remote desktop to agileship-vdi, double click on the AgileShip-VDI connection

Double click on the "Shipping" icon

A page should load up that looks like the one below.

NOTE: There is a slim chance that the printer does not show up correctly, or does not print correct. If this happens use the following printing instructions instead.

Alternate Printing Method

To print a shipping label, take a screen shot of it. To do so press "command" (the apple key) "shift" and "4" on the keyboard at the same time. Then click and drag the crosshairs over the area of which to take a screenshot of.

After the screenshot has been taken it will automatically be saved to your desktop with the name "Screen Shot 'time taken'" where 'time taken' is the time and date the screen shot was taken. An example is "Screen Shot 2012-07-20 at 12.22.43 PM". Open the screen shot of the label you want to print.

Then open the "File" menu.

Then select "Print...".

Then pick the correct printer out of the drop down menu, and click print.
